Internet marketing is actually very similar to having an offline business. Either way you need to have some kind of site where you try to market your products and services to customers.

If I think about it, the concept of Internet Marketing (doing business through the internet) is the catch phrase, but the Gurus are selling the process of Internet Marking (list building, SEO, traffic, etc.) through the concept. But because the concept is continuing to grow, the biggest market is the process.
